Eduardo Crespo, CEO, Hispanic Market Solutions

Eduardo Crespo is considered un pionero (a pioneer) in Spanish-language broadcast media, Hispanic marketing and ethnic communications. With a 20 year track record, he has provided best practice ethnic marketing and advertising services for corporate brands interested in reaching the Massachusetts, New England, and U.S. Hispanic markets.
 
Currently, Eduardo serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hispanic Market
Solutions, a strategic marketing and advertising agency based North of Boston. Clients include Comcast, Verizon Wireless, Greater Boston Real Estate Board, Squeem Corp.
(Orlando, FL), U.S. Healthcare/Evercare, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Northern Essex Community College, Northeast Center for Healthy Communities, Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce/Boston, among others. Mr. Crespo is also the creator and facilitator of the executive workshop series called, "Succeeding in the Hispanic Market".
 
Mr. Crespo has been featured in the The Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, El Miami Herald, El Diario (NYC), Adweek/New England, Hispanic Business Magazine, Hispanic, Associated Press, Reuters and the Bernard Hodes Group Diversity Matters (Sept. '04) . He was a recent guest speaker at the 2004 New England Direct Marketing Association Annual Conference at Bentley College and at the New England Latino Student Summit at Brown University.
 
Mr. Crespo has been a passionate advocate for the inclusion of Hispanics in the economic vitality of the New England region and has served as leader in increasing awareness about the importance of reaching ethnic communities.
 
He founded Latin Hit Parade, New England's first Spanish-language radio program (Curt Gowdy Broadcasting). Its unique blend of insightful talk/political analysis propelled it to become the longest-running radio program in Massachusetts (1973-
1997). He managed numerous state-wide and regional promotional campaigns for Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Pepsi, Budweiser, American Airlines, Hilton Hotels. As a revered broadcaster, he landed exclusive interviews with the late music legends Celia Cruz and Tito Puente as well as Julio Iglesias. In 1997, he received Proclamations from the U.S. Congress and Senate for Leadership in Community Involvement and Communications.
 
In 1986, Mr. Crespo founded Crespo & Associates (C&A), the first Hispanic-owned marketing firm in Massachusetts. C&A earned the Se Habla Español Award from Hispanic Business magazine for creative excellence. In 1991, Mr. Crespo was nominated by Hispanic Business' "Top 100 most Influential Hispanics in the U.S." C&A's client roster included Autonation, Dr. Pepper, and Telemundo, NYNEX (now Verizon), In addition, C&A established corporate sponsorship programs with brands such as Nabisco, Budweiser, Raytheon, TJX, Blockbuster, and Univision for top Hispanic events.
 
His educational background spans Latin America, the U.S. and Europe. He holds a BA cum laude and Fellowship, "Emerging Leaders Program 2004" from UMass/Boston and is a certified Exports Promotion Consultant by the European Union EU (Holland).
 
Mr. Crespo was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 16. He has been happily married to his wife Laura for 35 years. The Crespos have three children and five grandchildren. They reside in Methuen, Massachusetts.
