BIO:

Mel Robbins is America’s Life Coach. She’s a relationship expert, syndicated radio host, author, columnist, lawyer and the co-founder of two companies: Advice for Living, Inc. and 2Market Media, LLC which develops and distributes personal improvement products and television programming with experts in the wellness, health, relationship and career categories.

Mel started her career as a criminal defense attorney. In 2001, she left law to run a successful coaching and keynote-speaking business serving F500 corporations, conferences and media events as well as high-level executives and individual clients, helping them reach their professional and personal goals. Her no-nonsense approach can be heard on 96.9 FM WTKK Saturdays from 10am to 1pm, and on the hit syndicated radio show "The Mel Robbins Show," broadcast in 20+ markets across the country from the Borders flagship store in downtown Boston.

In 2007, Mel signed on as a relationship expert with ABC to develop television shows and launched a daily call-in advice show on Sirius. In 2008, Mel became a contributor to CNBC and monthly columnist for Success Magazine. In 2009, FOX tapped Mel as the host and business expert in a primetime reality show pilot about struggling businesses. She is now working on a new series for A&E, set to premiere in June. Her new book, "Stop Saying Your Fine: Discover a More Powerful You," is one of the most widely-reviewed books on Amazon’s Vine review program and was voted “#1 book of interest” at The Book World Fair in late April.

Mel also hosts and produces a filmed talk show series for Borders where she has interviewed high-profile celebrities and authors including Barbara Walters, Dr. Oz, Donald Trump, Mandy Moore and Bill Cosby.

Mel is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Boston College Law School. She was a trial attorney and dot-com executive for several years before launching her coaching career. Mel lives outside Boston with her husband and their three young kids.
